Stone

Andesite has been quarried at Sekatak, North Kalimantan, since 1996 on a 35,000 ha. site. Production capacity is up to 100,000 cubic metres per month. Two crushing plants with a combined capacity of 340 tons/hour reduce the rock to the required size and this is stockpiled before being shipped by barge for use locally within Kalimantan. Ten grades of rock are produced ranging from 400-900mm boulders to <5mm rock ash.
